The National Park Service’s maintenance staff has made an attempt at cleaning the vandalism at Plum Run. This view was taken facing north at approximately 7:15 PM on Monday, July 26, 2010.
As we previously reported earlier in July, vandals defaced a number of rocks in a concentrated area at Plum Run, across the road from Devil’s Den. We notified the National Park Service, and checked up on their efforts to clean the vandalism last week. We’ll let you judge the results for yourself.
The rocks seemed to have been blasted/sanded down, but the text is still very visible, and readable. This view was taken facing northwest at approximately 7:15 PM on Monday, July 26, 2010.
