The Gettysburg Daily again checked on the progress of the Reynolds Avenue Bridge, or the Railroad Cut Bridge on Saturday afternoon. The span is now completely gone. Since the railroad cut hasn’t been free from a span many times since the first bridge was constructed here in the 1880s, we decided to take more than a few pictures.

What’s left of the Reynolds Avenue Bridge or Railroad Cut bridge and the equipment. The monument in the left center is to the 6th Wisconsin. The monument to the right of the 6th Wisconsin Infantry is the 95th New York Infantry. On the north side of the cut are the following monuments, from south to north: 3rd Indiana Cavalry, 147th New York Infantry, and Brigadier General James Samuel Wadsworth.
