Gettysburg has not seen rain for a number of weeks now. The drought is apparent on most parts of the field, including our panorama here. Stone Avenue is currently closed due to construction. The crop planted in the right portion of the view is soybeans. The photographer is standing in front of (west of) the Reynolds Equestrian Statue on West McPherson’s Ridge.
