Crawford Avenue is now open, but the access to Devil’s Den in Gettysburg National Military Park is closed. Cars are not directed where to park, so they are beginning to park along Crawford Avenue and Warren Avenue. This has potential to be a mess, especially for buses that attempt to get through this area on a Friday afternoon in August.

Visitors, such as these who are walking into Devil’s Den parked at another location. They had passed by the cars in the previous photograph, not knowing that Devil’s Den was closed. The National Park Service does not want vehicles parking off the road. The vehicle closest to the camera has done this. The vehicle ahead of it has not. The vehicle completely parking on the road, however, is marking it more difficult for vehicles to pass him on the left. This Gettysburg Battlefield Tour Bus driver, who knows what he is doing, is almost in the grass on the left side as he passes the cars on Crawford, and before he makes his turn onto Warren Avenue.
