Gettysburg’s William Patterson House Update: Windows Installed

November 28, 2009



The National Park Service is still preparing the William Patterson House to be completely enclosed for the winter. This view was taken facing north at approximately 7:30 AM on Sunday, November 22, 2009.

Gettysburg National Military Park’s William Patterson House, located east of the Taneytown Road near between its junctions with Granite Schoolhouse Lane and Hunt Avenue has received window frames in an effort to seal the elements out of the house before winter weather begins to make its appearance.



They are now adding window frames to the structure. This view was taken facing northeast at approximately 7:30 AM on Sunday, November 22, 2009.
