We walked across Steinwehr to take this panorama of the area that occupied the most recent National Park Service Visitor Center.One of the buildings to the previously mentioned Quality Inn can be seen in the far left of frame. Ziegler’s Grove is in the right of frame. The monument with the eagle on top is one of two Gettysburg monuments to the 90th Pennsylvania. Historically, hotels located along Steinwehr Avenue had great access to the nearby visitor center. Though that visitor center is gone, this Lincoln bust now enjoys a view of another Lincoln bust located in the Soldiers National Cemetery (it can barely be seen through the gate).Also visible in the left of this view is the rostrum at the cemetery.
