As part of our “Resources” posts we’ve done over the years, our goal has been to make publicly available as many photographs and images of Gettysburg as possible, even those that don’t always make it nicely into one of our postings. The Library of Congress digitized approximately 7,000 4×5 images from photographer Carol Highsmith in 2011, with a few of those photos pertaining to Gettysburg (out of a total of approximately 100,000 images donated to the public domain by Highsmith). We have included these photographs here for this resources posting. The photographs were uploaded with a general date of “between 1980-2006.” If you can date any of these photos, please contact us.
