The big news in Gettysburg late Tuesday was the resignation of Gettysburg College President Katherine Haley Will. Dr. Will had served as Gettysburg’s President since 2004. The Gettysburg Daily took photographs of the Gettysburg College President’s Home Wednesday afternoon.
Dr. Will had previously served as President of Whittier College in California, and had been provost and professor of English at Kenyon College in Ohio. She received her masters degree and doctorate in English from the University of Illinois. She received her bachelor’s degree from Tufts University. Dr. Will will leave at the end of the academic term. She released a statement saying she had resigned for personal reasons.
